Ierace Automotive not only performs mechanical repairs, we are renowned in Perth for building, enhancing, and Engine Dyno tuning high performance engines. Our automotive team is highly skilled and experienced and committed to delivering the quality workmanship that customers expect from a leading high-performance workshop.

Our performance engine building and performance tuning shop in Forrestdale has the only DTS Engine Dyno in WA with an Industrial Noise Control (INC) Dyno test cell – a purpose-built facility for building high-performance engines. Our Engine Dyno room has been specifically designed to work with our dynamometer and provide proper ventilation.

Our automotive technicians have extensive experience with performance and racing vehicles and really know how to make performance engines that last. Roush Yates EnginesIerace Automotive has joined forces with Storm Motorsport to provide Roush Yates engines – the only builder and repairer in Australasia to supply and install these world-class racing engines renowned for their power, performance, efficiency, and precision. Roush Yates race engines are used exclusively by Ford Racing’s top series NASCARs.

We are Perth’s Ford Performance Vehicle specialists and are well known for our high quality restorations of early model Fords and late model EFI V8s. Engine Dyno Tuning

A dynamometer, or dyno, is a tool that is used to measure the horsepower and torque of a vehicle at the tyres. It is used to find out the amount of power you are putting to the ground and to tune your performance vehicle. Ierace Automotive has many years of Dyno Engine Tuning experience. Our dynamometer, data loggers, and exhaust gas analysers allow us to accurately tune and service all types of engines including:

At Ierace Automotive, we use the same system as the USA’s Engineer Master’s Challenge due to its accuracy and repeatability. By putting your engine on our Dyno we can set the air-fuel ratios to optimise performance and get the best fuel economy out of your vehicle. We can also optimise ignition timing, all in the safety of our Dyno test room.
